IB CAS hours officially begin the summer before your junior year. You must earn a
minimum of 150 combined hours thoughout your junior and senior year. These hours must have comparable parts of Creativity,
Action, and Service. The guidelines below detail the hour requirements per grade level at Richmond Academy:
Freshmen: 12 Total Hours
Sophomores: 20 Total Hours
Juniors: 40 Hours 1st Semester; 60 Hours 2nd Semester (100 Total Hours Junior Year)
Seniors: 50 Hours by March 31
Juniors and Seniors must complete a minimum of 25 hours per semester.
